tymelie is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. You can be assured that any information by which you can be identified will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.


This privacy policy sets out how tymelie uses and protects any information you enter at tymelie.com when you use our services. tymelie may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from September 24.


Overview

In some circumstances, you make personal data available to tymelie. This information is stored in a database, and is not sold, distributed, or leased to third parties unless we are required by law to do so.


We may collect the following information: name, email address, time zone, log data. We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for internal record keeping and service improvement.


Name and email address Names and email addresses will not be used for purposes other than intended, but rather are used to send access information to tymelie polls. Entering a name or email address is optional and tymelie can be used anonymously without inputting such data.


Log data Certain requests and transactions are recorded in log files. This data could contain your clicks on tymelie and your IP address. This log data is used for troubleshootings, quality assurance, usage statistics, security monitoring, and is analyzed to for these purposes. This data does not contain any personally identifiable information.


tymelie also uses Google Analytics to assist with the compiling of usage statistics. Analytics is a service provided by Google, Inc. Google's privacy policy can be accessed through the following link: http://www.google.com/privacy.html


Cookies

A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer's hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyze web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual.


The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences. Tymelie also uses cookies to collect additional website usage data and to improve our site and service.


We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies to better understand how you interact with the tymelie, to monitor aggregate usage by our users and web traffic routing, and to improve our services. A session cookie enables certain features of the tymelie and is deleted from your computer when you disconnect from or leave tymelie. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser and may be used by your browser on subsequent visits. Persistent cookies can be removed by following your web browser's help file directions. Cookies help us to provide you with a better tymelie and a better overall user experience, by allowing us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than what you choose to share with us.


You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if preferred or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the websites you visit. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of tymelie.


Deletion of polls

You can manually delete a poll at any time using the admin link, or, for registered users, through the control panel. Deleted polls are then moved to the trash. Afterwards, you can permanently delete a poll by deleting it from the trash. When the poll is permanently deleted it is cleared from the server and cannot be accessed again. Furthermore, a poll is automatically moved to the trash six months after the date of the last change. You can then restore the poll from the trash if desired. After six months in the trash, the poll is automatically permanently deleted and removed from the database.


Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.


Unauthorized access

Tymelie implements several features to prevent unauthorized access to accounts, polls, and other data.Accounts are protected by passwords. You should choose a secure password and ensure its confidentiality in order to prevent unauthorized access to your account.

If you forget your password, you can request a temporary password. This password will be send to the email address asociated with your account, and is active only for twelve hours. Another password can be requested only after twelve hours have expired. Furthermore, for protection, if you are logged in and inactive for an extended period of time, you will be logged off automatically. A message will be shown the next time you log in when this occurs.

Only members of the tymelie team who have a necessity to access information for the purposes outlined under the previous paragraphs have access to this information. Security practices within tymelie are held to high standards.


Communication with tymelie

If you send a message to tymelie, this message can be stored to process it,compile statistical information, improve services or support, or to get in touch with you.If you leave tymelie feedback through the feedback section, you give tymelie the right to post and display your comment on tymelie. If you would like to delete your feedback, you can send an email to tymelie with your request. Final status of your comment will be left at the discretion of tymelie. Sharing personal information

Tymelie uses personal information according to its Terms of Service and its Privacy Policy. Tymelie may share this personal information only under the following conditions:

  • tymelie has your consent
  • tymelie has good faith that it is required by law to do so
  • tymelie needs to access or share the data to protect the security of the service, its users, and their data
  • tymelie needs to access or share the data to protect its rights and property or to enforce the Terms of Service
